Dementia-friendly communities are designed so people living with dementia and their caregivers feel included in their neighborhood. This talk will discuss the benefits of dementia-friendly communities, the best practices, policies and services that can help enable them in diverse suburban areas, as well as highlight new research opportunities on this topic.
