Introduction to Diabetes 101

Diabetes is a chronic complex disease that we are continuing to learn more and more about each day. Poorly managed diabetes can lead to many complications including eye and kidney disease and increased rates of limb amputations. Understanding and knowing your risk for the development of diabetes can help you prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes and with good management, many diabetes complications can be prevented or delayed.
