Dr. Ray Berry BSc MD CCFP(PC) FCFP

Dr. Ray Berry obtained certification from the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine in 2007, and his Certificate of Added Competence in Palliative Care from the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2016.

He has worked as a palliative care consultant at Toronto Western and Princess Margaret Hospital and helped lead development of the palliative unit at Bickle Centre, Toronto Rehab. 

Dr. Berry brings strong experience in hospital and palliative care leadership. He has served as Medical Director at Lakeside Long Term Care, and as Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee at Toronto Rehab where he also sat on the Quality of Patient Care Committee and the Board of Directors.

He has served on the Executive Committee of the Toronto Central Palliative Care Network and chaired its Integration and Planning Subcommittee.

He has been extensively involved in education. He has sat on both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Education Committees at the University of Toronto and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine.
